General Information
The garden is a seven acre site which slopes down to the Pincey Brook on the northern boundary. There is a wealth of modern sculpture, architectural salvage, large ceramic pots and artefacts to find and explore.
We recommend that the organising teacher should make a preliminary visit by appointment to arrange a suitable programme for the class day. If required there is a sculpture trail available at 20p per copy to guide the visiting children around the principal works in the garden.
In view of the brook and other water features in the garden, parties of primary school pupils should contain a ratio of one adult to five children, and secondary schools a ratio of one to eight.
Refreshments may be eaten on the lawn opposite the Visitor Centre or, in the case of bad weather, in the Centre itself.
