From M11 (Junction 7)
Take A414 towards Hertford. Go through three roundabouts and turn right at the fourth (B183 to Hatfield Heath, brown sign). Continue straight through two more roundabouts, when you will come upon a quarter mile straight road (Gilden Way). At the end of this straight there is a brown sign on the right pointing left to Marsh Lane, which is the entrance to the garden.
From A1060 Chelmsford/Bishops Stortford Road
In Hatfield Heath turn left (from Chelmsford) or right (from Bishops Stortford) onto B183 towards Sheering. Go through Sheering, cross the M11 and follow the road through a number of S bends. You will eventually see the brown sign on the left pointing right to Marsh Lane and the entrance to the garden.
