Sir Frederick Gibberd's library and archive have been catalogued and are kept in the House in the Garden, with the exception of his architectural drawings, most of which are housed in the Drawings Collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Subjects covered include architecture, art, gardening, travel, building & engineering, town planning, biography, landscape design and Sir Frederick's diaries, plans, books & drawings of the Garden.
The archive is available for study by bona fide students, under supervision, in the House or the Visitor Centre.
